Each Christmas the church family visits our three nursing home/assisted living centers where we hold services. We take gifts, tracts, and snacks to the residents. Each year we have a great opportunity to share the love of Christ with residents, their family members, and staff.

Every Monday night at PBC, we meet for Bible study, testimonies, prayer, preaching, and fellowship. We\'re learning that God\'s Word has ALL the answers to life\'s questions, and we\'re finding, \"Freedom That Lasts!\"

April 7-10, 2013, are the dates for our third annual Spring Jubilee. We heard from great men of God, and the Lord surely did a work in our church.

In late February 2012, Preacher and Chris took four of our young ladies to a youth conference at the Victory Baptist Church in Milton, FL, where we heard some great preaching and teaching. We went a day early and enjoyed some good fun at Pensacola Beach. God has given us some good young folks at Progress Baptist with a heart to serve the Lord, and we are thankful for what He is doing in their lives.

April 1-3, 2012, we enjoyed three days of great preaching, singing, worship, and fellowship. God met with us and did a great work in our church family! A good number of visitors came to our services, and we enjoyed fellowshipping and worshipping together with God\'s people.

The first weekend in March, the church family enjoyed two days of emphasis on the Christian home. On Saturday we had a nice dinner and fellowship together, and on Sunday, Bro. Randy Sutherland preached in both our morning and evening services.

In January 2012, the Progress Baptist Church celebrated its 10th anniversary. We enjoyed great preaching and fellowship as we praised God for His faithfulness to this local church.

During the third weekend in December we enjoyed our Christmas Dinner, Christmas Caroling and Outreach, and our nursing home service and gift distribution at Cardinal Care in Hendersonville.

On Saturday and Sunday, December 10 and 11, the church family enjoyed a weekend of fellowship and preaching from from four faithful missionaries and their families. God touched our hearts and increased our burden for missions.

In mid-November we had three days of preaching, teaching, and fellowship with an emphasis on the family. God helped our homes and families in a very special way!

On Saturday, October 8, 2011, one of our young ladies, Stacy Raynes, was married to William Stewart. Their wedding was held at Grace Baptist Church in Liberty, SC.

Sunday night, October 16, 2011, we began four nights of special revival services with Pastor Johnny Jones from Oceana, WV. God used Brother Jones in a great way to be a blessing to our church.

In May, 2011, a good number of the Teen/Young Adult Sunday School Class enjoyed an outing in the mountains of Western North Carolina with their teacher, Bro. Breck Landreth and his wife Tammy.

The Lord recently blessed the Daniel and Kelly Hart family with a precious baby girl! Just three days prior to her birth, the church family enjoyed a time of fellowship and gift-giving for this young family. We rejoice at the work of God we\'ve seen in their lives!

After the evening service, the church family enjoyed a good time of food and fellowship to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Stacy Raynes to William Stewart on October 8, 2011. Afterwards the ladies and several of the young folks moved back into the auditorium where Stacy and Will were showered with gifts, notes, and words of encouragement and blessing as they prepare to start their life together. It was a very nice evening for Stacy, Will, and the church family.

On September 10, 2011, we had the privilege of hosting a \"Patriot Day Picnic\" for public servants in the greater Hendersonville area. Over 120 folks come throughout the late morning and afternoon. It was a blessing to say \"thank you\" and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with these folks.
